The new pastel love

I've never knew how much I love pastels until I saw this Australian clothing brand, Forever New...Their collection are literally to die for...check this out...these are my personal favourites (Ok I lie, I love everything in their store and clearly I can't put up all their stuff here)

Not only their clothing but I'm also drooling over their gadget's accessories...so chic...




But the bad news is they don't have any store in Malaysia and the closest is in Singapore...*bummer* and their online shop only ship within Australia...*double sad*

The day he spend on shopping more than I do...

We had a blast in Auckland...it was short and sweet...so need to do it again...


Last week, browsing Pacific blue for end of the year cheap flight, I came across cheap flight to Auckland for $19 one way, so tanye fiance and he was like BOOK it...so I did...memule ingat nak stay for 2 nights but the only available $19 return ticket was the next day...hmm pikir2 balik ok jer since I'm dying to do window shopping in Auckland...so i book the earliest convenient flight out to Auckland on 23rd and the latest return flight to Wellington on 24th...then i found a cheap accommodation in the heart of Auckland...turun2 jumpe LV store (well more to turun bukit, turn kiri and lintas jalan..haha but you'll get there in a minute..if you sprint hahaha)...but anyway it was a great deal considering we only use $150 for the entire trip minus the shopping of course...


Anyway since it was only a night and we were only bringing carry on luggage, I was reminded repeatedly to pack light...and I actually pack my stuff 2 hours before the flight (for those who know me, know that I tend to make a list of things to bring and start packing at least a day before)...in the 2 hours, I manage to cook fried rice with sambal udang to bring, pack my stuff, mandi, iron my tudung and had breakfast...


Parked our car near the airport, check in and board the plane...arrive in Auckland at 9.30am and took the bus to the city...had our brunch/early lunch at the harbour side...



At 11.00am we start strolling down Queen Street...before that we went into Coach to browse the price for my two darlings and fiance loves some of the designs, I tawaf the store more than 3 times even though there wasn't much collections pun...we went to LV and fiance gave the 'green light' and I'm super happy (I'll let you know more on the 'green light' when the time comes)...and we went to other designer stores just to compare the prices..


Then we went to Chancery and High street...Calvin Klein was having 30% off everything excluding underwear and jewelery and guess who bought the first thing on our-supposed-aqish-shopping-trip...yes, fiance bought a new jean...hot jer i but knowing that he is soo picky with his jeans, i'm actually kinda relief that he found the cutting that he likes...lepas tu die pulak beria nak find new shoes (another item he is picky on)...he will only buy shoe/jeans that he really2 like...




Then lepas tu, i dah penat/hypo-caffeinemia and as usual melepak at Starbucks sampai petang...then bought takeaway beriani ayam and lamb for dinner...lepas dinner kul 8.30 i dah tertidur...


The next day at 10am, we took a bus to Newmarket because someone want to buy shoes...apparently Newmarket has tons of shoe stores...Pusing2 and none to his liking, we ended up in Starbuck Newmarket pulak, stayed a few hours and then start finding lunch...after lunch, found a bag in Esprit to ganti my school bag and we headed back to downtown Auckland...


Then I found my favourite stationary store, Kikki.K and they were having 50% off...bought a folder, clip and pen...Then lepak Starbuck again and while reading cosmo, I saw a cute sleeping mask by Peter Alexander...terus tinggal fiance to go to the store (he was too tired to tag along plus he is so busy surfing internet)




At 6pm, took our bag and headed to the airport and we flew home...


Sampai rumah letak bag and order Cinta's chicken rice and baru sedar we didn't return the dvds...aiseh mesti kene denda lagi nie...


Somehow last night finding parking was a nightmare, so nak tak nak he had to drop me off to pay for the fine...dah semangat keluarkan kad EFTPOS nak bayar fine and abang Civic video tu cakap "I'll let you off this time but make sure you get it in on time, next time" sambil senyum and he was so cute too...I told fiance, leaving the cute part of course, and he was like "hmm ok, lepas nie you jerla antar kalau lambat"...then I replied "tula, tererkan q and for the record, I did not flirt"...haha


Oh ye, today fiance bought a new adidas shoe online and right now he is busy finding a new watch pulak...ish die pulak yang banyak shopping...tonight we're going to watch Transformer at 10pm...so till then...

Hackett is on sale and its up to 50%!! I pulak yang drooling over men's clothes...but seriously its super cantik...Haila naper store die around Europe jer mostly...paling dekat pun jepun...or South Africa...eh mane satu lagi dekat nie?...Currently I'm eyeing on this Aston Martin Racing Stripe Rugby Shirt


One day baby, one day...

A 'kinda' very long entry...

*WARNING: A Very Long Entry (hey I've been AWOL for months, what do you expect)*

So its been months since i last blog...well actually I've been missing for months, ie no communication at all with other human beings...haha except certain people la kan (those who GENUINELY care)...I just don't feel like talking or seeing anyone...well not that anyone noticepun *self-pitying*...haha nolah of course some notice...

konon trying to disconnect with everyone including bestie...and it turn out to be a big mistake...straight away i receive a screaming phone call (oh yes, she screamed and very LOUDLY i must add) and another 20 minutes of nagging from bestie because i didnt reply her frenster msg and phone txt (but she claims heaps of email, msgs and txts)...Sayang, thank you for screaming and yelling k, it does feel like you were there beside me like the old good times eventhough you are miles away in Padang...and D i know u care as well but you are really2 busy with the new job + *wink* and knows that Naza will report back to you about everything...haha...and yes i can't go back for you *wink* and i'm still kicking my self for that...demmit!


So what have I been doing this past months......i did think of going home (cause dad always pay everything kan, ahaks) but somehow didn't feel like it...i felt like just lazying around at home and not go anywhere but come to think about it I think it has been a quite productive 'lazying around'...

Let see,

• Shopping is a mustla kan but i didn't do much i think...just one sass and bide jean and a scarf from kirkaldie and stein, clinique 3 steps, Esprit work belt and coin purse.... for 3 months that is a little of shopping plus with all the sales going on...proud of myself..*self-pat on the back* ;)

• Spring cleaning of the house and did some re arranging of the furniture...bought a drawer/dressing table (finally!) and did some home craft a little bit...well more of storage boxes...i did some gardening as well (sampai melecet2 jari i)...haha...

• Polishing my baking skills...owh fiancela yg paling happy with this...everyday ader new dessert: chocolate cake, cheesecake, cream puff, banana cake, cookies, apricot danish, tuna puff etc...(owh saye tak kuase nak tangkap pic for every dish)
  

• Reading novels again (its been ages since i last read a novel)...so i was reading the whole shopaholic series again (just in time before the movie premier) and also all the other Sophie kinsella's book...and currently thinking of buying the twilight set...

• Renting dvd every week from Video ezy terchenta plus re-watching SATC, gilmore girls and the O.C for the who-knows-how-many-times-already...Finally was able to download the whole 4 seasons of The Hills (telah mengupgrade ke 40gb, so super downloading all cerite under the sun)...haha

• Addicted to Dota..haha blame the fiance! But I'm getting really good, I mean really good...Killing up to 12 heroes without mati...*Perasan hebat sedangkan satu hero jer reti gune*

Ok I think thats pretty much it...ceh ingat cam banyak nk tulis, poyo jer...Anyway I'm too lazy to upload pictures...So till then, toodles!

Happy 1 year old Afif!!!!!

My not-blood related nephew turns 1 today....he's my best friend's son and he is adorable...he calls me mama Qish (well he hasnt said a word yet, but thats what his mum called me) and the last time I saw him was 6 months ago...his mum didnt bring him on my engagement day...

Owh I so can't wait for him to start talking...mesti talkative like her mum and maybe he can sing too...OA has a great voice...anyway for this birthday I bought him clothes from Gap.com...Hope it will arrive soon tho'...This is what i bought him

Since I'm already shopping for Afif's clothes...it would be a waste if I didnt but a pair for Akmal's...so this is what I bought him...

Another day out...

I went shopping again! On wednesday and today...We went to warehouse on wednesday to get basically kitchen's utensil...we bought cutleries, senduk2, pinggan, wok, mangkuk, cawan...sungguh seronok...all our old stuff either mostly pecah or too uzur...we also bought some dumbbell and i was so tempted to buy the pilates starter pack...tp memandangkan yoga pun I did very little...i'm commiting myself to one thing, then if later i want to try something else, ok...anyway that was that...weather was really bad that day so we can't shop anything else...

So today...the sun finally comes out...and yes since i need more sunlight, fiance bawak kuar shopping...pi esprit again and guess what the top that i bought last saturday has further 20% of on already on sale items... so saye pn amik la lg satu but kaler lain...fiance didnt get anything...but i'm thinking of going again cause the further 20% sale until this sunday only...tgkla how later...

Since the sun is out, we decided to drink starbucks and let me berjemur for 20 minutes...(yes u need to berjemur for at least 20 minutes daily with bare arms exposed)...sah2la cannot bare arm kan... but i did put my sleeve up half way...so kire kene la double the time ek...hahaha..oh ye saye beli thermos baru from starbucks to bring to school...cannot buy coffee anymore, bwk the 3 in 1 nye...hmm and fiance pun start membebel...

'iye...q nk beli 3 in 1, so pagi2 trus masak air before mandi and lepas mandi trus buat'
'iyeke nie, skang dh ader 2 coffee machines and 1espresso machine...tiga2 awak x pakai'
'ala leceh nk wat pagi2...pastu saye tak reti wat, tak sedap..beli bean from starbuck pun x jadi...buat foam pn x jadi...lagi senang pakai 3 in 1, janji kali nie q bawak pi skolah'
and he laughed 'yeye abg x marah...make sure kali ni jadi'
'hik ok'...ended with a cheeky smile which for sure mean not a real ok...

Then we went to tie rack but nothing seems interesting...tgk2 sony nye kedai...went into vodafone to pegang the 3g iphone...then pi michael hills to resize my ring...yes my ring is big...somehow balik nz it feel more longgar...sad cannot wear it all the time...but they just had a change in the policy, they cant resize other items not bought from their retailer...pelik tul, pascoes kat queensgate hrtu kasi...hmm xpela, we'll find another jewelery shop later..

Then we went to reading cinema to see the showing times for dark knight and we bought the 9.00pm...Then masuk whitcoulls to find a notebook to write my recipes...berterabur my recipes, so i need to compile it in one place...then we went home...

orait...need to get ready for dark knight....mkn luar or masak hmmm....masakla, byk duit dh gune....i'm being a good fiancee kn babe?!

Last week recapped

For some weird reason I've been itching to go shopping almost everyday for the last week...saye telah membeli satu sweater nike yg konon2nye nk di bwk berjogging but until not i haven't jog yet...sungguh malas plus sejuk...so anyway, Rebel sale and i was so rambang mate and i wanted to get a new aerobik 3/4 pants as well so that i can do aerobik in style kat umah but i decided not too thinking i have a lot more on my list...so bought only one nike sweater.... i was also looking for pyjama's bottom and jalan2 kat kilbirnie haritu found $10 pants (fiance pi bank, jadi saye shop..hehe) and bought tw0 pairs...hmm sangat suke cz its pink and its fleece....so amatla sedap....then last firday pi queensgate but because saye tak jumpe jeans yg saye suke and levi's x sale saye trus merajuk and nak balik...sian fiance had to bear and brought me back...trus ruin all the plan...i wanted to shop a 'little' then nk tgk hancock and then nak balik makan kat Arashi...but since saye merajuk trus la kene balik...and i went straight to bed...mind u its only 7.00 and bgn kul 11 lapa giler....txt fiance yg juge tido (cz klu saye wat perangai die suke tido...sian hehehe) and said i was so lapar...bergegas la fiance bgn and we went out to find food...saye terase nk mkn nasi jer klu saye sungguh lapa but aperla yg bukak at 11pm so dgn muke masam (again!) pi mkn kebab...huhu sepanjang mkn saye membebel...x sedapla, dryla, kedekut sosla...3 bites and i stop...fiance, the patience he is offer to goreng nasi once we get home...tp i said taknak...ish truk tul saye...sian fiance, i really thot he's gonna leap across the table and eat me alive dah for being so annoying and mengade2...but of course he didn't...then he offer starbucks...i still said no...then bubble tea and i said yes tp akak tu dh nk tutup....c sume bende nk against me, its not my fault that i'm being mengade...then he offered lepak tepi pantai and i refused gak...kesimpulannye saye sgt mengade that night but fiance was awfully tolerance...but i became better when we stayed up watching dvds at my place (we rented 10dvds the day before)...and yes saye mkn kebab saye balik sbb kul 4 saye lapa and sedapla pulak bile dh balik...HAHA... On Saturday, didnt do anything cz i went to bed after subuh and didnt wake up right before asar...then sambung watching dvds and that night saye masak masak lemak daging salai...super pedas...On Sunday, Went out to town and bought 1 esprit jeans and 1 top...esprit sale and once again rambang mate, wanting to go back to get the top in different colour and fiance wanted to buy new jeans since its murah...fiance had a tummy ache due to masak lemak..heheh sian perut die tak tahan...nasib baik i was ok...so bought soya milk and subway since he hasnt eaten all day...So mlm tu masak yg tak pedas langsung, ayam ginger and sup sayur...Today, had to go to hutt hospital in the morning and there was also a class in the afternoon...balik2 trus tertido...supposedly nk p warehouse sbb byk giler perkakas rumah needed to buy tp since dh terlelap cancelled...bgn2 txt fiance 'yayang ade ikan separuh jer dlm fridge, camne?'...so we decided to go out to buy groceries and mkn at temptation...hmmm indian tonite.....
