Its my birthday again!

This is my 100th post and coincidentally, its also on my birthday. To be honest, I totally did not remember my birthday was coming. I actually realized it earlier this week when looking at the expiry date on the milk bottle.

Bleh plak cakap kat
husband "mak aih lamenye susu nie nak expire". I was completely convinced my birthday was weeks away. And of course husband being husband goes "Eleleleh buat2 x ingat pulak. Kire semlm sebut2 ______ because nak for birthday la kan"

Seriously it was an innocent request.

Anyway, I had a great birthday. Nothing extravagant. Just a simple celebration with the husband.

Coming to birthday resolution (like I usually do every year), the first on the list, same as every other year is to lose weight.

I don't think I'll ever cross this off my list. Sad but true. After getting married, I've been piling on weight like nobody business, I'm sure I'm at teh highest weight ever aaaanddd I'm not even pregnant and if I do get pregnant now, I'm going to be huge by the end of the pregnancy. Scary. Nasib baik tengah on family planning but if I do get pregnant, ayoyo matila...

Second on my list is to start saving money. A lot of our money have been spend on the wedding and I know its worth it but I have to start getting serious in saving more money. There's so many things in my mind at the moment on generating more money and saving more on expenses.

Third learn to bake more. I can cook but I can't bake. people always say that you're either good in cooking or baking and never both. Not saying that I'm a great cook but if you ask me to cook Nasi beriani, ayam masak merah, Dalca and acar, I have no problem. But if you ask me to bake as simple as chocolate cake for "people" to eat, I'll definitely mengelabah.

Fourth and the most important one is finding myself. Figuring out what I really want for my future. Whether in the current field I'm in or something completely different or maybe something in between. I know I have sorted out the relationship part of my life; ie family, children etc but I'm still uncertain about my career choice. I know I can't definitely know what the future hold but at least I want to make sure I'm happy doing what I'm doing and not to care about what others think or say if I choose different from what they want me to be.

Anyway those are my resolution for turning "late 20s". Demmit I'm already late 20s.

The big 3-0 is getting nearer and I'm hyperventilating as we speak....

Wordless Wednesday v.8

Its frustrating to know that this is it. There's nothing more to life than this.

I sound defeated. Maybe I am.

But going through life thinking, hoping and dreaming that there's more too life than this can get really exhausting.

Maybe it will get better.

Maybe it won't.

You know my name, but you don't know my story...

Cleaning the fridge and voila!

Its near end of the month, which means grocery shopping for me...this is the time where my fridge is left with near to expire food...so this is what happen when i clean my fridge...

yes pizza...it doesn't look tasty but boy its so delicious i tell you...i can eat two of these...and its actually low in calories since i used tortilla as the base...here's what you need...

1 tortilla wrap
1/4 Holland onion - slice
1/4 tomato - slice
2 tbsp tuna (I used lemon and pepper tuna)
2-3 slices of jalapeno ( i used the one in the tin)
2 tbsp tomato sauce
2 tbsp white sauce (this is optional, i had this is in the fridge just because i needed to finish the milk)
Parmesan cheese (Lots of it, haha there goes the calorie count)
Salt and pepper to season

1. Preheat the oven to 250C
2. Spread tomato sauce and white sauce evenly on the tortilla wrap and put the tortilla in the oven.
3. In the mean time, slice the onion and tomato and diced the jalapeno into small pieces.
4. Take out the tortilla and just everything (tuna, onion, tomato, jalapeno, cheese, salt and pepper) on the "pizza base"
5. Put it back in the oven and wait 5-7 minutes until the edge is all crisp
6. That's it!

*you can put anything you like as the topping or omit anything you don't like8

Husband was working last weekend and when he works weekend, usually the bread and milk will not finish by the expiry date. Its just because I usually do big brunch n sat and sun and when he's not around I just eat cereal.

Anyway there was so much milk left and I knew it will not get finish so i made white sauce instead and left it in the fridge. White sauce is really easy to make.

White sauce:
600ml milk
3 tbsp plain flour
pepper
a lil bit of cheese

1. Put all over a small-medium heat.
2. Slowly whisk (preferable non-stop) until the sauce thicken
3. That's it.

This sauce is originally recipe for lasagna but i sometimes used it to make potato bake or just simply gravy to chicken or meat roast. Actually if you put mushroom and chicken stock, it will turned into mushroom soup...

Vampire vs werewolves

Ok I have to be honest...I have never been a fan of twilight...I saw the first movie when it first came out and I didn't like it...at that time I felt it was kind of a ridiculous vampire-human romance...

Bear in mind, I was never a fan of movie of anything not human...it wasn't Edward's fault...

But few months ago, I found cheap twilight book series online...being a book-junkie (plus I just couldn't understand what was all the rave about), I decided to give it a shot...

Boy was I wrong...I was hooked...I was giggling every few seconds sampai my husband pun interested in reading it...and then stop after few chapters and few giggles...pffft

I love Edward in the books...I find everything he does in the books is so sweet, romantic and he seems to be a very understanding boyfriend...

By saying that, I don't mean that I hate Jacob...but I prefer Edward than Jacob...just because he was the other guy who you just can't get rid off in your relationship...kinda whiny and childish...

But when I watch all the movies (after I finish all the books and keep harassing husband to dl them)...I kinda hate Edward...I find him too "understanding" and too "cool" with Bella-Jacob relationship...c'mon man, are you just gonna watch? Seriously I was annoyed...

and I love Jacob...I felt he was more adventurous, more like the "bad" boy you fell in love with...or maybe he spend more "shirtless" time in the movie than Edward...haha

(somehow I'm hearing a background voice "jangan nakal" from what seems like husband's voice)

Well anyway, I watch Breaking dawn yesterday and I like it...I don't love it just because I felt it was kinda dragging, especially the honeymoon bit...I felt i wanted to push fast forward...(jealous mode)

But I just love the wedding part, Bella's wedding dress was really pretty, with the low back lace details and she was wearing a white heels with silver embellishment, very pretty but she change to a white snickers when she dance...typical Bella....

But the wedding was pretty with all white with touch of green, it brings back memories...I was holding husband hand tight...hmm the newlywed feeling, hope it won't go away anytime soon...

Ok I'm digressing...

Bella look prettier this time around and Jacob looks great, Edward look neat and tidy (haha nampak sangat x berkenan dengan Edward)...I also love Alice new hairdo and Renesmee was really cute, especially the toddler version....

Love the dress Bella wore to her honeymoon and her hairdo when she return...she looks a lot prettier this time around...skinnier too...

Storyline wise was quite similar to the books but of course I love the book version better...they do cut a lot of stuff from the book which is understandable...they do fit in the important bit though

But the part where Bella was giving birth to Renesmee was quite graphic even for me...I did squirm a little tiny bit...:) and when she was "dead", she looks horrific...but she became prettier again once she became a vampire...somehow her vampire-self was quite similar to her wedding/honeymoon look...maybe she should have look like in the previous movies so that she will look really pretty when she become a vampire...oh well let see in part 2, how pretty she really is....

Anyway I can't wait for the part 2, just because I can't wait to see Renesmee and how cute she'll be...

Do we dream just to dream?

When do you know that you are satisfied with your life?

I wonder if you will ever feel satisfied with your life. Is there a point where you feel you are satisfied with your relationship, your career and your dream? And if there is what does it feel like?

Do you stop working on your dream, since you've reached it, and stay still? Not working towards anything and what will motivate you to go through life?

Or will you create another dream and hope to achieve it? or create another dream just to go on?

Do you dream to keep dreaming? or do you create a dream so difficult to reach that you never reach them?

Or do you dream on things that are difficult to reach, so you'll never reach it, you just work towards it either until you give up or you think you're satisfied reaching your dream.

Then again what do you do after you've reach your dream?

I just wonder...

NYX lipgloss

I love lip gloss...I don't really like wearing lipstick but lip gloss is a must when I go out...recently I've found a good review on NYX Mega shine lipgloss...so I bought one to test it out...I bought Crystal Soda

Its a pretty pinky natural with a light of slight shimmer...I've been using it everyday, even at home...

then this is what happen...

I just couldn't resist...the colours are amazing and they are so cheap...as cheap as drugstore brand but their quality is nothing like the drugstore lip gloss...they don't have those weird chemical smell or have that very melekit texture...

I'll definitely will buy more of these and I hope it won't be discontinued anytime soon...

and I did a little more damage to 'save' on shipping cost...

Down with...

I've been down with toothache and gum infection this whole week...all the previous posts was schedule to post from last week...

Me, on the other hand have been under the duvet for the past week...

It was so horrible being sick this time...it wasn't so much about tooth or the gum but instead the lymph node on my neck...it was swollen and so painful every time I swallow at a certain angle or whenever I touch it...

The common cause of a swollen or painful lymph node is local infection, its indicating that your immune system is fighting the bacteria...

But being the drama queen I am... I'm convinced I have some sort of a cancer, maybe lymphoma or leukaemia or perhaps a mets....omg saiko giler...it was so tender!

Husband on the other hand keep saying its only reactive lymph node and would not entertain my concern "it might be cancer" saikoness at all...

*boo-hoo, no sympathy for wifey at all*

ok2 I skip the part I refuse to take painkillers also..that's why he just won't bother with my nonsense...

But to my defense he was asking me to take paracetamol and when I was still in pain, he ask me to take ibuprofen...then again I was still in pain, so he decided to give me codeine...that's like a LOT!

Well it's actually not...that's like the painkiller basic...if the lower level of painkiller doesn't work you give the one above it....but I just wanted to be degil just to be degil....

Anyway, after "If you don't wanna listen to me, I'lltake you to get a second opinion then", I fold and took my medicine...

Little that I know I get terrible stomach ache from ibuprofen, so mengelabahla husband pi beli gaviscon to ease the pain and it works...

But the ibuprofen doesn't work so much, so he insisted me to take codeine and knowing how easily i get constipation, he make sure I took laxsol as well...

And not to forget the 3 days course of antibiotic...

and then I was nauseated all day from who knows which drug side effect and of coursela husband wanted to give metaclopromide but NO! I'm already taking medicine like a 85 years old lady so I went to drink orange juice instead...

Oh all these happen over the course of a week...I didn't take all the painkillers all in one day...pengsan liver I kang

I do make the worse patient ever...and husband knows it all already and will never tolerate my nonsense

But its sweet whenever he "terjaga" from his sleep, he'll put his hand on my forehead to feel if I'm too warm and check my pulse to see if I'm in pain (I don't like to tell I'm in pain and he has this habit to check my pulse to see if I'm tachy then he'll know I'm in pain)

but the sweet-EST thing is when in the morning i told him what he did during the night, he'll go
"really, I have no idea I did that"...and I'll go "awwww"

few second later...

"see even in my sleep I love you so much, Q ade?"

*moment ruin*

KOSE

I have only known one brand for pore pack, Biore...well I do know guardian made them as well but everyone knows that it doesn't work at all, thats why its so cheap...anyway growing up I've always know and used Biore pore pack for removing my blackheads...

I remember during high school, I never bought the whole pack...I don't think I could afford the RM12 on top of all the other essentials...so I always buy it from a senior who sells it for rm1 for 1 strip everytime I needed it...so it works well, I didn't need to cough up 12 buck but I still was able to use it whenever I needed it...you know like where the mamak restaurant who sells loose cigarette...

ok i know its not the best example but thats the only one i can come up with at the moment....anyway i'm digressing again...

I've always like using the pore pack...just because it gives you instant results and its very satisfying just to see all the blackheads on the strip...you feel soo squeaky clean...and I thought Biore pore pack was amazing until....

I found this from Kose...

It works a lot better than the Biore one, and I mean a LOT...

I was browsing through SASA website and I was wanting to buy the Biore pack online (I'm so lazy to go out this days) and I found a review saying that the Kose one was better, so I thought why not give it a try...

When I first received it, the writing was all in Japanese, but everyone knows to apply a pore strip, so who cares?...but I do get annoyed when I can read the instruction (I read every single manual instructions, I know a pain)...

Anyway I tried the Kose one and definitely removes a lot more blackheads than the Biore one... I've manage to restrain myself from posting a pic here...you can thank me now :)

I also have heaps of blackheads on my forehead and I usually used on on my forehead as well...I used with the Kose one and after removing it, you can actually see a fine line where the strip was apply at...

So now I have a clean-clear-of-blackheads PATCH on my forehead...great!

"Pop-up" mall

Fancy shopping in a shipping container?

Re:Start the heart

this s a temporary mall, a revitalization of the inner Christchurch city following the February earthquake...it comprise of 60 shipping containers creating 27 shops...this is the first pop-up mall in the world...

Apparently, similar project have been planned in London called Boxpark...

Someone actually donated 5mil to rebuild Christchurch and wanted to remain anonymous...I wonder if any Malaysian would actually do this if our country had a major disaster...

Disclaimer: None of the above songs are not related to any particular boy.

Baby, you passed!

10 places where women want to be touched

Forget a woman’s cleavage, there are more erogenous spots that you can explore to get your lady sexcited. Read on to discover her ten most sensuous body parts.

What guys often mistake is that they go straight for the woman’s breasts or other private parts, without concentrating on her nine other moan zones.

So, if you want to get your girl into the mood, stimulate some of her often-neglected body parts.

Tresses

All guys like women with gorgeous locks. But what you need to know is that women love being touched on their head. It’s quite a stress reliever.
Running your hands sensuously through her tresses is likely to send shivers down her spine. Massage her temples to the nape of her neck and she'll be game to your desires.

Nape of her neck

In ancient Japan, the back of a woman’s neck was considered extremely attractive by men as it was one of the few zones that were not covered by the elaborate kimono.
Today, very few men focus on the nape of the neck, but we suggest you build up the pleasure by gentle touching and kissing your lady love from her hairline down to her shoulders. It will make her reach dizzying heights of pleasure.

Collar bone

A well-defined collarbone is what men find irresistible. So, why not touch and kiss her there. Unbutton her shirt just a little and stimulate her collarbone with your touch. Create circles with your tongue and give her love bites right there, just to remind her of how much you want her.

Small of her back

Most women love it when their guy places his protective hand against the small of her back as it shows that he feels very strongly about her.
So, why not incorporate this gesture into your foreplay routine, by kissing or licking down her spine to end up with a kiss on the small of her back. It will definitely get her into the mood for more!

Behind her knees

This area is a power house of sensitive nerve endings. You can gently caress the back of her knee under her skirt while the two of you are in an open public space as it is sure to get her excited by the time you reach home.

Palms of her hands

We use our hands to please our partners, but have you ever thought that you could arouse a woman by stimulating the palm of her hand? Run your finger along her palm as that will make her feel relaxed and ready for a sexy rendezvous ahead.

Her earlobes

This is one of the most erogenous moan centers of a woman’s body. Touching, kissing and even gently biting her earlobes will send her into a sexual tizzy. If you are getting extra adventurous, simply nibble around the outside of the rest of her ear as well, but don’t put your tongue inside her ear. That’s a major turn off!

Happy feet

There’s nothing more sinfully seductive than a foot massage. It will help her relax, especially if her job requires her to be on them all day. Get yourself some aromatic massage oil or lotion.
Pay extra attention to the pressure points such as her toes, ankles and the sides of her feet too. Some women love enjoy having their toes sucked, but others find it repulsive, so ask your babe what she would have you do before putting them in your mouth.

Soft thighs

Touching a woman’s inner thighs without touching her private parts is the most sensual tease that is sure to get her all charged up.
Employ your hands and mouth to caress and kiss the insides of her thighs but remember to pull back before going all the way.

Uni-Brow

There's no post at all last week, LAME! I do have a couple of draft but just didn't get manage to finish it off just yet...

I've been busy trying to live better...its so frustrating when you don't even have the time to even go for a threading and facial (my eyebrow is becoming uni-brow as I speak and my nose looks like a strawberry, full with blackhead, gross I know)...and don't get me started on my hair...

Bert's uni-brow

So I vow to take more good care of myself...I need to keep my appointment for threading at least once a month and do facial regularly as well...

I miss going to the hair saloon for weekly wash, yes i go every weekend, well that was right after graduating when there's practically nothing to do...and just spend hours with Naza every weekend doing god knows...how I miss those days, just lazying around with the girlfriend...(missing girlfriend badly mode)

Anyway, I finally manage to rearrange and reorganized my life...made an appoitment for threading, facial and massage...maybe will try to fit a hair wash/cut appointment sometime next week...bought a new yoga mat - yang lame ntah pi mane, ntah2 dah jadi alas "the boys" baiki kete kat umah (I've been putting off doing yoga because of no mat, lame excuse kan?)...also bought a pedometer and bought few ingredient to prepare my diet meal...

And you know what happen when I told my husband I'm going on a diet yet again...he said

"you know when you go on a diet, you'll buy a whole new food and it just ended up not eaten, and Iwan even told me that you've even tried dieting, bring all sort of "diet" food when you go back to "kampung" but you ended up ditching it just because you can resist Penang food, hilarious!!!"

This is what I hate when your brother is too close with the husband!

I'm so telling Anis ALL your dirty little secret, Iwan....

*evil look, plotting a revenge on the brother*
